What if we told you that you could achieve anything you want by changing your mindset? Would you believe us?

Well, believe us or not. It really is the truth. Manifestation- also known as the laws of attraction- is here to save the day and help you turn your dreams into a reality!

What is Manifestation?

Manifestation and the law of attraction are slowly gaining popularity in the world. With more and more content being created to explain this practice, many people are trying to figure out what’s real and what’s fake.

Essentially, manifestation is bringing something tangible into your life through attraction and belief, i.e. if you think it, it will come. However, there is more to manifestation than willpower and positive thinking.

Manifestation is about making everything you want to feel and experience a reality...via your thoughts, actions, beliefs, and emotions.

The concept of manifestation is not new. The roots of manifestation can be found in the 19th-century New Thought spiritual movement.

This movement promoted ideas like thinking positively can solve most of our planetary issues and that our thoughts have power over the physical world.

This concept (or the “law of attraction,” as it’s commonly called) can also be traced back to ancient spiritual teachings, particularly Hindu ideas, about the oneness of your mind, body, and the cosmos.

However, manifestation as a concept is taking the internet by storm. We’ve all seen the “Shut up I’m manifesting” memes at some point or another.

Though there can be limitations to manifestation, it's crucial to recognize the influence a shift in perspective can have.

Myth Busting: Manifestation Edition

If you look at manifesting from a goal-setting point of view, there’s definitely some validity to the concept.

In general, research has shown that positive thinking, one of the core concepts of manifestation, can be beneficial to your overall mental well-being.

However, common misconceptions about what manifesting is and is not, still exist. Let’s find out what the common myths around manifestation are:

1. Avoid Negative Thoughts:

We certainly would all already be in possession of all we could possibly want if manifestation were this simple.

The reality is that manifestation is more complicated than simply avoiding negative thoughts or just thinking happy thoughts or seeing your ideal car and waiting for it to appear in your life.

You must actually believe that what you want is already yours because it is a fundamental aspect of who you are, in order to manifest it.

This includes your thoughts, feelings, words, actions, and knowledge. We don't manifest our desires or our thoughts; rather, we manifest who we are.

What would a person who already possesses _________ think, feel, say, behave, believe, and know to be true like? Try to be this person right now.

2. You must obsess and focus

When it comes to manifestation, you'll observe people emphasizing the value of focus to the point of obsession. Doing so impedes the flow of energy and breeds resistance.

Distract yourself and pursue a variety of interests so that your happiness isn't dependent on THAT ONE THING appearing. This will help you manifest and tune into the flow of limitless possibilities.

3. The destination will make you happy

Always keep in mind that following your spiritual path and manifesting is about the JOURNEY, not the destination. The Divine plan includes all of the lessons that manifest, failures, difficulties, and tribulations.

4. Your thoughts create new things

You build your own world by combining your thoughts, behavior, AND emotions. There are other factors at play besides your running mind. More than your thoughts can possibly say, your vibe talks volumes.

Now that you know you know what manifestation is and is not, how do you actually go about manifestation?

Manifestation Techniques

The first step to manifesting all your desire is: having a clear path of intent.

By your everyday thoughts and deeds, you are in control of your own future and not just letting life happen to you.

Consider the aspects of your life that you wish to modify or the objectives you want to accomplish.

Now, onto the manifestation techniques:

1. A Vision Board is a Must!

One of the simplest manifestation strategies, which many people have already tried even when they aren't aware they are manifesting, is making a vision board.

In addition to helping you see the kind of life you want, vision boards may be a helpful reminder of your goals and the reasons you should persevere during challenging times.

2. What’s a Gratitude Journal?

Good things usually take time, and when we aren't succeeding, it may be all too easy to fall into a negative frame of mind.

Try keeping a gratitude journal in which you can record the things for which you are grateful, every day.

3. Two Cup Method.

One of those slightly more spiritual manifestation strategies is the two-cup approach.

If, you want to try this manifestation method then just prepare two cups.

Fill a cup, and write your current situation on the label (such as single, lonely, or what you are feeling at the moment).

Mark the empty cup with the circumstance you want to experience in the future (i.e. loving relationship).

Consider your current circumstances and how you will feel once you achieve your desired outcome for a moment after labeling the cups.

Pour the water from the current situation cup into the desired situation cup while holding on to that positive feeling.

Drink all the water in this desired situation cup, and rip off the label from the current situation cup.

Hold onto the label from the desired situation cup, and know that you’re now attracting the situations that will lead you to whatever your desired outcome is.

4. Positive affirmations, Positive Affirmations and Positive Affirmations

The basic idea of this manifestation technique is to write positive affirmations on sticky notes and put them all around your house.

You can paste these sticky notes on the bathroom mirror so these affirmations are some of the first things you see when you wake up.

This is an easy way to start transforming your mindset and challenging your negative beliefs.

In conclusion, while some people consider manifestation a kind of magic, manifestation’s really a training technique. It’s a technique to train our subconscious to be more accepting of what we want to achieve.
